Better Than New

I went to an all-day wood plane-making class put on by the woodworkers club today. I didn't finish making my plane -- due to complications beyond my control -- but It's far enough along that I should be able to finish it at home.

The class instructor, Val, is a master of all trades. In addition to his enormous woodworking shop, he has an adjacent metal-working shop where he's working on this exquisite restoration project. You can see the rebuilt engine in the background. 

Val didn't have any detailed drawings of the bodywork -- just a photo -- but that didn't deter him. You can see more of the bodywork in the extras.

I know someone will want to know details of the car model and vintage. Sorry, I can't remember anything except that it's a Ford , but I will find out.
