Schomberg Santa Claus Parade

We went to the last of the Christmas church bazaars today, finding a few more tasty Christmas treats ( gingerbread cookies)  and then went to Schomberg for their Christmas Parade. The main street closes down, all the stores are decorated, there is a craft sale in the Community Hall and a bake sale in the church....lots to see and buy! A Town Crier opens the parade followed by the Mayor and his wife in Dicken's era costumes. Fire trucks, assorted business floats,Scottish pipe and drum bands and these cute and adorable miniature ponies and of course Santa at the end. A fun and perfect day for the parade!
