Finished

I rushed to finish the cushion cover because I really need to clear the space for all the paraphernalia of Christmas. It was almost entirely made from scraps of fabric I had stored away, The lace near the middle was from old table linen. Hard to cut that up, but if I had taken it to the charity shop it possibly wouldn't have survived anyway. It was hopelessly old fashioned and not very good lace. Some of the other lace had belonged to daughter Anna.
We have been this evening to a beautiful Christmas programme performed by eight talented singers in a church. It was a mixture of songs, readings and carols and we enjoyed joining in on some of them. It was a lovely start to the Christmas season.
