The regulars

Pierrot (left) and his friend regularly sit on this perch and survey the garden. When I looked out the window around 4pm, it was busy with birds. Alongside the feral pigeons were a woodpigeon, long-tailed tits (you can see one in the background of the blip), blue tits, great tits, sparrows, a robin and a squirrel.

I've been at home all day with a nasty stomach bug - the first illness of the autumn/winter season. I think I've kicked it now, though, and I'm feeling a lot better.

It was lovely to chat for a while to my mum who's enjoying her birthday today. Happy Birthday Mum! xxx
