Winter red

In one part of the garden I planted some dogwoods.  For much of the year they provide effective if slightly dull screening.  In winter they come into their own with their brightly coloured bark.  They've been doing this for the past four years but I've never managed to get a good shot of them.  I'll try harder this winter.  This is a start.
