Christmas Market Widowers!!

The Rebecca Fountain outside Bath Abbey is obviously the place for gentlemen to wait for their better halves while they're busy shopping at the Christmas Market!


Another Christmas-fun-packed day! First stop was a neighbouring village for their Christmas Fair where I picked up a few stocking fillers, then back on the bus and into Bath which was absolutely heaving. Half the world seemed to have descended on the Christmas Market!

I wisely decided to come back to the market in the week, when hopefully it will be quieter, and headed straight to the Abbey for one of their 20 minute Shoppers' Carol services, an annual tradition. Even the Abbey was packed to the rafters, but at least it meant the carol singing was rousing. Next stop was the Mulled Wine stall to fortify myself for a visit to the supermarket. Then back on the bus and home to collapse in front of a Christmas film.
