Leeds City Hall

Had another wonderful day in Leeds, going round all the shops and getting some Christmas cheer.

Here’s Leeds Town Hall which is one of the largest town halls in the United Kingdom and as of 2017 it is the thirteenth tallest building in Leeds. It was opened by Queen Victoria, in a lavish ceremony in 1858 as Leeds celebrated the completion of an important civic structure. It is a Grade I listed building.

Off the the West Yorkshire Playhouse to see the ‘Lion, Witch and the Wardrobe’, which should be lovely.
