Yanks are back in town

The town has been having a 1940's weekend, and there were several of these American Jeeps parked up in the town center I didn't see many GI's in uniform though, probably in a cafe having a coffee out of the cold.
I tried to get a better angle, but there was somebody in the way, and he didn't want to move. There is a word for this sort of person, I'll leave that to you.
I hoped to pick up some bargains in the Train & Model Fair this morning, which was held in the recreation center, but it was very disappointing, and I didn't spend much, for a change.
