Project Phoenix Steampunk Angels
What a nightmare it was trying to get parked in Ware for the Dickensian Evening. I multi-manoeuvered into a dubious space between a vehicle, a bollard and two low brick walls, changed my mind and had difficulty extricating the car. Sue Hart of Project Phoenix arrived and I asked her to have a go. She sold her S2000 three years ago and was out of practice. In the end a lovely man came to our rescue and effortlessly swept the S out and into a proper parking space. :)
My pic shows Sue and pilot Gabriella from Peru wearing their fiery wings and steampunk hats. We got quite cold stopping people in the street, telling them about the aerodrome and asking them to sign our petition for its reopening. It was worth it though as nearly everyone we spoke to was in favour. :)
Backblipping and in a hurry, will finish this post later.
