Ghion Hotel

This photo was taken yesterday. It shows Anj, Brian and Abbas on the grounds of the Ghion Hotel. The grounds are quite lovely, but the hotel has faded a bit over the years. According to the web, it is for sale, or it was in August. I didn't see any for sale signs on the lawn.

We had a productive meeting with Dawit, the dean of family medicine, in the morning. Among other things, we decided that we should hold a conference later in the month to teach GP's about the benefits of family medicine. This in the hope that some will apply to the residency.

We were on our way to another meeting, in the Ghion's cafe, to further flesh things out, and divide chores. As we have no dedicated meeting space, there are about a thousand cafe's in Addis that will do just fine!
