Algerian Iris

Today was another cold day and started with delivering lunch en route to the customer I am now a customer of. She is producing a Christmas present for a certain person and it is looking great as it nears completion.

I'm not sure whether this is historical truth or garden myth but today I was cursing the Romans for introducing Ground Elder to the UK. My understanding is that it was introduced as a fast growing food source and, as they were very active around Winchester, I see plenty of it. 4 hours of removing some from a bed was quite enough for me.

After work it was lovely to go for dinner with a special lady and spend some time together.

Day one of my advent calendar scented tea light candles means my house smells lovely.
