Bark at the moon ......

Cold and dry again. Managed to blow up the flat tractor tyre long enough to get all the cattle fed. Called Redpath tyres to come and fix it as I didn't have time to trek away to Haddington and back.
An afternoon spent tagging various batches of calves . Moved them further up the road ready to go into the hill shed when the weather turns bad again. At the moment they are taking no hurt outside and saving straw , which is like gold dust this winter .
Took the dogs a walk across the stubble fields tonight. The moon made it easy to keep an eye on them , but didn't show up so well on the iPod camera !
