Advent

Today being the 1st of December, out came our Advent calendar. I've had this for more years than I care to remember, certainly over 30. I bought it in Galt toyshop which was in a funny wee upstairs shop in Princes Street. Everything there was always such good quality and well made as they were primarily school suppliers. They later moved on a smaller basis to within Jenners toy dept.
Eilidh had a look at it yesterday and spent ages planning out the order things should go onto the tree. She did have fun, just like her mum and aunty did. If only it could talk, a real piece of family history.
