Winter Tree

With the onset of winter this week I thought I would go looking for for some  interesting trees in the landscape. This one was just at the road side and I climbed into the field to get a better view. Unusually for me I actually picked a tree that still has some leaves on as I quite liked the more rounded shape they gives the tree. The cloudy blue sky has transferred well to monochrome and added some drama. It's also quite nice that there are some distinguishable shape in the background such as the church.
