I donned my scrubs and gloves this afternoon and got down to some surgery on library books.
Some came into the book hospital injured from wear and tear.
Others, a clear case of abuse and neglect.

I used my trusty scissors, Sellotape and sticky back plastic covers and saved many books who now are back on the shelves ready to be borrowed again.

Sadly 3 books didn't make it. They were too severely water damaged, covered in mould and smelly to be saved and are now fit for the bin.

Question is, should I bill the parents of the students responsible for the 3 books and their demise?
