Lampost at dusk

Thursday. St Andrew's day. I had a day off.

After a very lazy and long lie in, did a bit of catching up with stuff and then I had lunch with Scott. After lunch, we went to St Andrews.

It surprised me that there was nothing around in St Andrews to indicate any kind of celebration, not even saltires. Maybe there's not such a tradition over here. However, we decided to have a St Andrew's day dinner. Scott made Cullen skink and then we had Speyside single malt whisky smoked salmon and scotch beef with oatcakes followed by dumpling with custard for dessert. I think that's Scottish enough.

Relaxing evening watching the TV after that. Too cold outside.
