Spread Eagled

Shopping in Epsom today, and how the town has changed over the years! Traffic crawls through the centre on the one way system where there used to be a straightforward cross roads. Here there was the Spread Eagle Hotel, distinctive with this eagle on the side and another at the front. When the hotel closed the building was saved and bought by a tailors and outfitters. They have a splendid store and have also created a classy arcade alongside. But no time today to explore, my shopping was much more mundane!
