Buzz Again

I was up and out with Finlay around 7:30 this morning…both of us wrapped up well against the cold. The wind was bitterly cold from the north. It was a bright and clear start to the day and there was a rather nice sunrise.

Later Mrs madwill and I went to Doncaster as we were on school pickup duty at lunchtime for our granddaughter, whilst mum slept after a night shift. We then took little one into town for the afternoon. She was delighted by the singing reindeer, bears and elves outside Santa’s grotto and the musical animated singing Santas! Grandad was not so amused.

There was snow this evening on the drive back which, coupled with the wind and darkness, made a rather unpleasant drive home.

Fish and chips for tea and now it is snowing heavily here.
