Lantern Parade
Tonight was the children's Lantern Parade down at the Cathedral. The lanterns - which had been made in workshops - were judged inside the building, then paraded round the Close.
This was definitely my favourite, upsidedown Spiderman, but there were cathedrals, snowmen, stained glass made from coloured tissue paper, Christmas trees, hot air balloons, you name it! Interestingly, though, when I downloaded my blips I discovered there were far more adults with lanterns than children. Hmm! The middle class, middle aged, competitive parent? (Ooo, how mean I am)
So that's me for today. Enjoy what's left of you evening, lovely blippers xx
