Axminster Town Crier

Here's the lovely, friendly, Town Crier of Axminster. He is always smiling and has time to stop and talk to everyone, old and young. I heard him telling someone that he has the best job in the world - except he doesn't get paid for it - but he doesn't mind that,  as he enjoys it so much. 
This was at the Thursday market. He was ringing his bell to encourage all and sundry to come and buy. He asked me if I was new to the area - either he has an excellent memory, or the "real locals" don't take photographs of him!
I dragged my camera out, only to realise that I had left the card at home in my computer, so I used my phone.
