High Brandlehow

We had intended to finish the Northwest fells today but had a bit of a late start due to our Visit Britain inspection (and a bit of retail therapy in Keswick this morning)

We set off with time a bit tight but got no further than Seatoller where a warning of ice and dangerous driving conditions caused us to turn back.   We therefore diverted to the Western shore of Derwentwater to take some pictures.


Off home tomorrow so the final fell in the Northwest will have to wait.

We are back at Christmas
