Monument to "Heroes of Independence"

The Monument to Heroes of Independence is an imposing sculptural group, the work of Ernesto Soto Avendaño, was erected to honor the Argentine Army of the North and the Gaucho Squadrons of the Quebrada de Humahuaca commanded by Colonels Álvarez Prado and Arias, dependents by Martín Miguel de Güemes.
