Yarrn

Inspired by all you wonderfully creative Blippers, for some time now I have been trying to find a new hobby not that I have many others these days.  Not possessing either a creative or artistic gene its been quite tricky until I remembered I once tried crocheting and think I might have enjoyed it. 

In a reckless moment aided no doubt by a few glasses of red I ordered a beginners kit which arrived today.  It didn't take me long to realise that there's a difference between 'beginner' and 'complete, absolute, no idea, useless beginner' and headed off to the 100 yen store to stock up on essentials: two balls of yarn, a bigger hook,  mini scissors and a tapestry needle all for less than £4.00 I do love Daiso! 

Over two hours and a ridiculous number of You Tube videos later and all I have managed to produce is a tiny 7x3 cm rectangle that looks like its been strangled! At this rate it is going to be a VERY long time before I get to the flippin' 'beginner bunnies!' Assuming my eyesight or nerves don't give up first! 

Now, where's that blessed video about tension? Aaaaaaargh...
