Eel for supper

I think it's an eel anyway. There was a series of shots I got in the evening gloom and I thought at first it was a stick but it curls around in one and disappears except for a piece sticking out of the heron's mouth in another.

It has been so hot today I went down this evening in the cool to the estuary- a different part- and watched the bird life as the tide came in.
I had this on the P setting and got quite a grainy look or should that be noisy.
