Cottessloe on a quiet afternoon

It was a nice day, but not one which attracted many to the beach.

A few lifesvers were on hand to keep an eye on those making the effort to take to the water.

Most of the seaweed from a few days ago had been swept back to sea, with some still remaining to make the beach less attractive than it usually is.

Bring on the real summer ...........
