IN THE HEAT OF THE DAY:

I think just by looking at this you can tell it’s another hot day ? This morning I measured- wait for it - 1.5mm of rain overnight. NOT 15, one & a half ! I heard in a news broadcast we can expect rain in the second week of December. I hope they weren’t teasing us ! The roses are making a grand splash of colour, & on the left, the red is another climbing geranium. Some years ago I planted 1 lily next to the geranium & now I have a virtual forest of them; they’re almost up to the eaves, but not yet in flower. My main group of lilies are on the other side of the house.
Time to shift the hose !
