Wednesday Dentist

Heavy rain in the night and a burst water main in Florence created traffic chaos this morning. I was listening to an Iain Rankin audio book as I sweated it out to arrive at the dentist 5 minutes late. But then she was late too.

A lot of grinding today as if they were trying to extract marble from my mouth. But we got there in the end with that awful gagging stuff they use to make the impressions.

It rained on and I did some long overdue cleaning with various new gizmos that were supposed to make it feel like it wasn't cleaning. But, of course, it was.

The lemon tree on the patio looked alright.

Have you been watching the last and final series of Detectorists. The first two episodes seemed a bit forced to me but the third one this week felt more like the old track.
