NEVER leave a child & pony unattended!

Not for the reasons you'd fear.

As you can see, Sausage is horrified, threatening to vomit and refusing to look at me. The other ponies are sniggering mercilessly.

I left eldest to put ponies to bed. After half an hour I popped up to the yard to find an immense amount of hair on the ground around Sausage.
Apparently "Kez (her riding instructor) told me to practice on Sausage!"
Rather than pull her mane B had chopped at it. With her little sister pointing out the uneven bits and systematically shortening them. Result is an inch long mowhawk and a rather short choppy forelock.
Thank goodness we aren't into 'showing'!!!
