Peacock Shadows

The building where I'm working right now has some very striking features, including wrought-iron gates at the entrance.

At the start of last week, I'd taken a shot of the peacock-feather shadow the gates make. However, I hadn't used it as my blip - instead, I posted another shot: "Aha," I'd thought, chuckling insanely to myself, "I can blip it tomorrow."

And so, of course, the rest of the week was dull and overcast. There's a lesson in there somewhere. Luckily though, today the sun was shining again.
