The lurgy. But the day is not all lost...
I have what is suspiciously like a hangover, but it can't be. I don't believe you get delayed ones. I was ill in the night, and am wobbly and nauseous and head-achey. It must be the lurgy.
I got up to take a photo of my jugs (no tittering at the back, there) because I always had them in mind if I couldn't go out. Today's the day. Most annoying, as it's another beautiful blue-skied day of the type we are getting very used to here.
Each jug on its own is pretty badly painted, like a blind person, or possibly a young child, painted it. But they look better as a group. I procured the kingfisher first, and then started to notice that there was indeed a series of them. The budgie on the top right is a new one - the old Burleigh factory in Stoke has been bought, complete with the old moulds. We made a pilgrimage there in 90s when we were travelling in the van.
I would write more about them, but feeling too groggy. I'm off back to bed. Hopefully this is the 24hour variety lurgy that has been going about. Funny - I've been avoiding schools, where one generally picks lurgies up.
Swimming has been cancelled tomorrow, and that makes me happy for some reason. And another CF-N-1282 form has NOT arrived. The day is not all lost.
