Something incredible happened yesterday morning that I forgot to put in my journal.  I was putting out peanuts in the back yard when something caught my eye back by the shed.  When I looked up what do you think was coming around it!?!  None other but a .... wait for it .... a FOX!

And wouldn't you know I didn't have my camera!!!! All I could do is stare at it in disbelief!  As soon as he/she saw me it ran off in the direction from which it came. We have been seeing a fox in our neighborhood quite often lately, but this is the first time I had seen him/her in our back yard!  Of course, I watched for him/her for the rest of the day ... and today as well! 

It wasn't until today that I realized that my reaction to seeing a wild animal coming towards me wasn't one of fear ... but simply awe. He/she was beautiful and I have set my sights on getting a picture!
