Big Wheel

To say it was dreich today would be a huge underestimate; it was serious foul with steady rain all day. We went to see The Florida Project at the cinema because it had 5 star reviews from a couple of normally reliable critics. We didn’t enjoy it as there was none of the classic parts of a good story; i.e no beginning, middle or end and nothing was coherent. Still we got it half price through Meercat Movies so didn’t feel quite so robbed. I walked into town to see some of Edinburgh’s Christmas and took this view of the big wheel, with new LED lights for this year. Curiously it looks better small, as you can see the spiral pattern better. We then got wet running in Holyrood Park on an increasingly cool evening; however on the plus side my shoes haven’t looked that clean since they were new.
