Golden Light

We decided on a shortish walk as the daughter wanted us at her house by 4.30pm to babysit whilst she took one of her dogs to the vets as she had been eating sand (!) when they took them to Barry Island Beach on Sunday.

About 3.30pm the sun started to dip in the sky for the start of sunset and we were walking quickly to get back to the car by 4pm. The blipfoto shows the light cast on the trees in Trellech Woods which I couldn't resist capturing to the annoyance of MrsBB who wanted to get back to the car!

The vet hadn't heard of a dog eating sand and did find some evidence but little Mollie seems fine and it's just a case of keeping an eye on her. She'll have a muzzle on from now on!
