New Visitor
In a brief respite from the rain we made a dash for the door with Jet. As we approached the castle I could hear a steam engine so diverted down the hill to see what was going on.
A new Tank Engine had arrived on loan from Ecclesbourne Valley Railway. It was made in Kilmarnock and spent 23 years at the Yorkshire Tar Distillery near Rotherham. We don’t often get blue engines on the NYMR so I was lucky to spot it.
As we left the rain returned!
