Wheels of Industry

We made the most of some sunshine today and braved the cold temperatures to have a wander along Rivelin Valley. The industry in question was wire cutlery and razor  making, which was powered by the fast-flowing water of this river. It has now been reclaimed by nature and is a beautiful walk, with these fine interpretive plaques along the way.
