tiny tuesday - Y?

As in - why is this tiny conifer growing in the middle of our front drive?

Many years ago, we had a Juniper Communis Compressa (very small slow growing conifer) in the front garden, but it has long since gone.  Could this be a dormant seedling suddenly come to life?

If so - it takes over 10 years to grow to 30cm, so I guess it’s going to see me out.  Which is what trees tend to do.  

Trees know everything - they’ve been here a long time.  I wish they would stand for parliament.
