Anniversary Weekend Day 3

What a fantastic room we stayed in at the Prestige Lakeside Resort in Nelson. The check in lady upgraded us to an executive suite which was huge. It had a king size bed, full sized couch, a soaker tub with jets and a tv in the bathroom as well as a balcony that looked over the lake and mountain. In the morning I was enjoying a cup of coffee and looked out the window and watched a black bear quickly traverse an open area of the mountain side. I was not quick enough to get a good photo of him but did grab this shot of the boats in the water right outside the balcony.

We took our time leaving the hotel and then began our journey home. We traveled through Castlegar, Grand Forks, Rock Creek and many other small communities and arrived safe and sound home. It was a fabulous trip and I feel tired yet rejuvenated and ready to join the rat race once again.
