Cattle Drive

Early this morning (well relatively early) my daughter received a phone call from the man that rents pasture to them, that their cows were out. Oh boy! Right along a state highway too. Hubby and our s-i-l were just across the highway from them, but didn't notice anything. I drove over to the 40 acre piece and told them what was going on. So instead of putting the four that were out back into the field with the rest of them, we blocked the highway for a few minutes and drove the cattle about 100 yards down the pavement to the 40 acres. Easy-peasy. Phew! As I was standing in the middle of the road by my Suburban, flashers blinking, I realized; Photo Op! So grabbed my camera and snapped a few shots. A day in the life....
That's what started my day of not getting anything done on my to do list, except the present for my daughters birthday tomorrow. At least that's taken care of. :-)
