That Bridge

Today Christmas shopping continued in Bath as we'd both taken the day off specifically for this purpose. We drove across from Bristol after breakfast and had a good time in the extensive Christmas Market (over 200 stalls). It was busy so it must have been manic at the weekend. It was also a bit chilly so by 2pm we were done so it was great that Annie had arranged for us to meet a former work colleague who recently retired (together with her husband and their dog). We had a very nice late lunch and catch-up, before we knew it the daylight was gone and it was home time.

Annie took the train back to Bristol as she's working there tomorrow and I (Chris) drove home. It's been a good fun couple of days and Christmas shopping is pretty much done now.

Here is the Poultney Bridge, a very well known spot in the city. Apparently Bath is Britains most romantic city (well so said the Independent in 2016!!) so a good link with the mono Monday theme I hope.
