Good Timing
It gets dark so early at the moment, especially on recent dull days so there is less chance of getting a photo in the garden. I set aside half an hour at about 2pm in the hope the light would be reasonable and something would put in an appearance. Luckily, this Sparrowhawk flew in from the East, parked up for a while on the hedge, had a good look round, and exited to the West. It's the same bird who visited just over a week ago - it has two distinctive white spots on the back of its head.
