Inadvertent

Let this blip be an example to you all to beware of slipping finger syndrome. It is very contagious if carrying a shopping bag while wearing gloves with the trusty iPhone camera secreted in a coat pocket and being desirous of blipping a pile of freakishly large, bright, yellow leaves lying on the pavement.

It is one of a burst of 13 photographs which found their way unnoticed onto my phone. But hey, inadvertent and skewed or not, it turns out to be much more interesting than the aforementioned leaves. Not only does it show the lovely sunshine (while ignoring the -1° temperature), but is a free advertisement of Heriot’s Christmas Market to a wider audience than might otherwise have been the case.
