Due South ... somewhere to live?

Day 8 of KeithKnight's challenge

A Canadian Mountie headed south to Chicago to investigate the death of his father and decided to stay in this quirky, popular 1990's American cop show.

I seem to recall that he lived in a run down apartment house with his wolf - and preferred sleeping on the floor. My little house, in a typical American style, would probably not suit him.
