Spring Blossom

Look at the sky we had today, it was so bright after yesterdays hail and stormy weather, all of a sudden we feel restored again.

The cherry trees down this street are always a mass of blossom but not all together. It is a long street where at the beginning the trees are early following down the street with later blooms, this is towards the end with many more buds to open, if the weather doesn't strip the tree first.

A fairly quiet day in our house, Hubby watching Bathhurst - 161 laps of V8 super cars, holden versus ford, an all day event where I watch the last few laps. Daughter A was busy doing uni work and I was pottering as I like to do, feeling a little tired after my busy day yesterday.

Hubby and Mum thank you all for your lovely birthday wishes, we had a great time celebrating sitting round our new dinning table sharing stories and eating good food. Hubby's actual birthday is in a few days time.
