Conference (day one)

I work opposite the International Convention Centre in Birmingham, which means that this week, I'm working opposite the Conservative Party Conference.

Outside the conference, the day started with a man holding a floral wreath with a Euro sign and the letters RIP on it, he shouted a lot whilst several women screamed and acted like zombies. This possibly went on for a longer than it needed to.

Throughout lunch a crowd of demonstrators wore Eric Pickles masks. This was scarier than the zombies. And there was this guy with his paintings...
