Exam Day

Until yesterday, Katie was quite nervous about today. But this morning, her usual "bring it on" attitude had returned. Today she was ready to nail her first RAD exam, her grade 2 ballet.

She woke very early, we had a fabulous time facetiming B in Malaysia. She and Katie spent a happy time working out some ukulele stuff. She did a great clarinet practice for me. We even managed a bit of time at church, though not the whole service.

She was so excited to go into dance. We were to drop them off an hour or so before their exam time. She ran in very relaxed. She came out a couple of hours later absolutely bouncing! She had a wonderful time and was delighted with how it went. Now to wait!

We got home and she went into her room to dance for a while longer. We had a practice for the church children's music group so we went out to that. She was quite tired when we got back so we snuggled with a Christmas movie.
