Flying kites

Son2 paid us a visit this weekend (with the obligatory laundry) and Mr DA and I took him back to Reading this afternoon, which gave us a good excuse to stop for tea and cake in Hartley Wintney on the way back. Before we dropped him off at his halls we stopped off for some provisions at a Sainsbury’s Local and there was a huge group (well, at least ten) of red kites hovering overhead. This was in addition to numerous solo ones that I’m already used to seeing on the way in. Another visit with cameras is planned ASAP when it’s brighter and sunnier.
