Lamp stem.......

....... Sanded and polished and now that I have cut the ends off that were between the lathe centres, you can see the hole up the middle for the wire to connect to the light bulb fitting.

     I have stood this on one of the bases in the extra to give you an idea of what it will look like when completed. 

     Now that I have the stem with the ends cut off, I will use this stem to 'copy' turn the other stem. You will see in the extra a bit of it showing with the ends on so that I can mount it in the lathe.
