Tree Of Hope

This tree marks the entrance to the Adana dog refuge. When someone passes this point, there is a chance they have come to adopt a dog and give him or her a forever home.

Last month we adopted out nearly 40 dogs. A record, I think.

The Christmas dinner was a great success. We met some lovely people who all had a love of dogs in common. So of course they were lovely.

Including two elderly sisters who had come to Spain as young girls in the 1950s and never left. Real pioneers.
