Bath ~ Day 2

After a delicious breakfast we decided to order a taxi to take us into Bath rather than pay for all day parking. Bath was absolutely packed. The first weekend of the market together with Bath rugby playing at home = lots and lots of people. We had a wander around for an hour or so before the boys left us to go to rugby... oh, didn’t I mention that the weekend we booked away also coincided with Quins playing away at Bath ;-D))

C wanted some pjs for herself and I think we walked the length and breadth of Bath looking for some. We did get some eventually;-)) I bought a few bits in the market... my first lot of pressies. At least I’ve made a start. C and I stopped for a shared lunch platter and a cocktail each. We only had one but we were glowing when we left. Soon after we met up with the boys (“Quins played rubbish and there is no atmosphere at the Bath ground” I was told). Now, of course, England were playing and the boys had found an Irish pub showing both the England and Scotland game simultaneously. C and I stayed with them for a while (it was jammed packed) before going for another wander. Once it was all over, the boys were hungry so we headed for something to eat. Another little wander around the market before getting a taxi back. We were all pooped. A cup of tea, shower and then a chilled time watching some strictly and jungle.

Another lovely day. Dry, bright and cold.
