Twilight at the Natural History Museum
I spent the whole day in the Natural History Museum attending the Annual Exhibition Meeting of the Botanical Society of Britain and Ireland. Lots to see, plenty of people to chat to and a good set of talks.
I left just before five and took a few images of the lights and Christmas activities outside the museum before descending into the hot, crowded mayhem of the underground. I just managed to catch my train from King's Cross with about thirty seconds to spare, and even managed to get a seat, though it was just across the aisle from a lady who coughed and snuffled through most of the journey, so I'm fully expecting to go down with a cold later in the week!
